I am a dedicated and active researcher who is always looking for new ways to better communicate scientific work.

I did the Post-doctorate at Louisiana State University with Dr. Michael Hellberg and with the collaboration of Dr. Eduardo Balart from the Center for Biological Research of the Northwest (CIBNOR).

I am currently a CONACYT Researcher at CIBNOR.

My main research interests focus on understanding the mechanisms by which new species are generated, how biodiversity and connectivity between populations are maintained, and how organisms cope with climate change in marine ecosystems. We use cutting-edge tools to understand the genomic and morphological expression, the reproductive strategies of the species, and their evolutionary relationships.
